I am a guitarist, composer, and music educator born in Leningrad and raised in Italy, currently based in Bologna.
As a child, I spent my days secretly listening to my brother’s cassettes and watching him play the electric guitar. At the age of 13, I finally picked up a guitar myself and never looked back.

While studying geology at university—a journey that took me all over the Italian Alps—I felt a growing need to devote myself entirely to music. This led me to study jazz guitar immediately afterward, first at the Siena Jazz Academy, where I graduated with a thesis titled “Nordic Sound: The Role of ECM in Creating an Aesthetic,” and later at the Conservatory of Bologna, where I completed a thesis focused on the compositional style of guitarist Bill Frisell through an analysis of the album Quartet.

Along the way, I expanded my sonic palette by embracing music production, synthesizers, drum machines, and, more recently, my own voice.
A constant in my artistic research is an interest in hybrid sounds that evade singular definitions, following a path that weaves between electronics, alternative rock, pop, and post jazz. I am currently working on the production of a full-length album, set to be released in 2025.
